A POP (Post Office Protocol) account with Milepost1 will allow you to keep the same email address throughout your life. If you graduate from college, change jobs, move, or change providers, you will still retain the same e-mail address. Accounts are simple to access and are usually available within 24 hours of receipt of your subscription.
POP accounts are fully functional mailboxes which send and receive your e-mail. These boxes are independent and can be accessed from any site with an Internet link. It also allows small offices to use one dial-in access for all users. Each box is password protected.
After your account is functional you can access your account at anytime. Your mail will stay on our servers until you remove them. You can access them from one place and they will be there if you need to access them again from another. However this is not a storage account, they will need to be deleted at some point.
